Presentation of the map of a destination

Several actions are available directly on the map to facilitate the exploration of a destination.

These actions allow you to move around, search for a location, display information, or use complementary tools.

You can move the map freely by dragging the mouse or your finger depending on the device used.

You can also use the buttons + and - to zoom in or out.

The search button allows you to quickly find a place or area on the map.

Click on the search icon.

Enter the name of the place you are looking for.

Select the desired result to move the map to this location.

The button Activate GPS allows you to use your current location on the map.

When GPS is enabled, SityTrip can display your location to help you navigate in the destination.

Depending on your browser or device, permission may be requested to access your location.

The button Show 3D buildings allows you to enable or disable the display of 3D buildings on the map.

You can click directly on a point of interest displayed on the map.

When you click on a point on the map, the details of the point of interest automatically open in the left window.

The re-centering button allows you to quickly return to the map's initial position.

Map tools provide access to supplementary features.

You can notably:

To measure a distance, activate the measuring tool and then click on several points on the map. The distance will be displayed automatically.

To display coordinates, activate the corresponding tool and then click on the map. You can then copy the coordinates if needed.

The themes menu allows you to choose the content to display on the map.

You can activate points of interest, marked routes, or places from your active trip.

The panel located to the left of the map displays the list of points of interest corresponding to the points shown on the map.

You can view the places, add them to a trip, or open their detailed profile.
