Geographical situation

Located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf, the city is bordered by the emirate of Abu Dhabi to the south and Sharjah to the north and east. Mainly established at sea level, it extends to the edges of the Rub al-Khali desert, which stretches its sandy expanses inland.

Atmosphere and character

The atmosphere is in perpetual effervescence, where luxury and innovation coexist harmoniously. The desert climate is characterized by extremely hot summers and mild winters. Summer temperatures frequently exceed 40°C, while in winter they pleasantly range between 15°C and 25°C. Precipitation remains rare and is mainly concentrated between November and March.

The ideal period extends from November to April, when the milder temperatures and pleasant weather conditions favor outdoor activities and city exploration.

Access

The international airport, one of the busiest in the world, offers direct flights to numerous international destinations. Access by land from neighboring emirates is also a convenient option.
