Geographical location

Located in the northwest of Italy in the Tuscany region, the city is just 10 kilometers from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Crossed by the Arno River, it occupies a strategic position 350 kilometers north of Rome, in the heart of a region known for its landscapes and exceptional cultural heritage.

The Mediterranean climate ensures pleasant conditions throughout the year, with mild winters and hot summers. Average temperatures range from 6.9°C in January to 24°C in August. Annual rainfall of about 910 mm is concentrated mainly in autumn, peaking in November, while summer offers sunny weather punctuated by rare refreshing storms.
