Capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo is the major political, financial, social, and cultural center of the country. Annual precipitation totals 932 mm, with a rainy peak in September that pleasantly refreshes the end of summer.
The months of July and August are the ideal time to explore the city, with pleasant temperatures peaking around 30°C. Autumn also represents an excellent alternative, offering mild temperatures around 20°C and colorful landscapes that enhance the historical architecture and surrounding hills.
