Spring and autumn are the most favorable times to discover the capital. These seasons offer ideal weather conditions with moderate temperatures and exceptionally beautiful landscapes. Spring enchants with its blooming cherry trees, while autumn captivates with its vibrant foliage.

Access

Two main airports serve the metropolis:

• Incheon International Airport: located 50 km to the west, the main hub for international connections
• Gimpo Airport: closer to the center, primarily serving domestic and regional flights

The national rail network also connects the city with major stations, including the central station which is the starting point for KTX high-speed trains to the entire country.

Internal transportation

The capital has a remarkably efficient and developed public transport system:
